NEWS | Manny Pay, the money app linked to boxing star and former senator Manny Pacquiao, will stop its current service on November 10, 2026. The app started only one year ago. Users are told to spend or send out their money before that day.

If money is still left in a Manny Pay account, it will be moved to a Traxion Pay account that users can open in the Traxion Pay app. Traxion Pay is the company that already runs the system behind Manny Pay. After November 10, any questions or complaints about these accounts will go to Traxion Pay only.

Manny Pay began on November 1, 2025. It is run by 7th Pillar, a technology company that Pacquiao chairs, which means he leads its board. The company hoped to get 100,000 users by the end of last year. Google Play shows more than 500,000 downloads, but a download does not mean the person kept using the app. The company has not shared how many people really did.

There are signs that Manny Pay may come back in a new form. On October 12, its social media pages shared a short teaser about something new for paying and sending money, but gave no details. The notice also says users may need to sign up again for future Manny Pay services. In April, the central bank registered 7th Pillar as a payment service operator, which allows it to launch more payment services.

In BMN’s view, this looks more like a reset than a full goodbye. A famous name can get people to download an app, but it does not always make them use it every day. Winning those users back will be the hard part.

Can a new Manny Pay win back people who are being moved to another app?
