NEWS | A new browser based tool called BTC Proof of War turns real time Bitcoin market data into a live battlefield, where price moves play out as armies fighting for ground instead of candles on a chart.

The project comes from a builder who goes by Algorex, King of ZCODE (formally, Danielle Bagaforo Meer), a Director of AI and AI/blockchain engineer who describes working across AI, blockchain, markets, games and design rather than staying in one lane. He came up through competitive programming, taking three consecutive StackLeague Grand Championships between 2021 and 2023 before moving into AI and blockchain engineering full time, and at 23 works across zkML, agent orchestration, and on-chain identity, with production depth in zero-knowledge proofs, homomorphic encryption, and ERC-8004. According to the project's own description, every visual on screen ties back to a real market number, nothing is added purely for effect.

In the tool, the front line sits at the live BTC price. Order book walls appear as fortresses at the exact levels they defend, while large market orders show up as infantry, tanks, artillery or airstrikes depending on size. Liquidations are shown as casualties, and when price breaks through a level, that ground is marked as captured by whichever side pushed through it.

BMN's view is that tools like this point to a broader shift in how traders want to consume market data, trading dense charts and order books for formats that feel closer to watching a live event. Whether that makes price action genuinely easier to read, or just easier to watch, is still an open question, and for now BTC Proof of War exists as one creator's attempt to answer it with real streaming data rather than a mock up.

If more of the market started watching price this way, would it change how people react to it, or just how it looks while they do?
